
An earthquake measuring 4.6 struck Sunday morning off Crete, south of the Lasithi region.
The tremor, which occurred shortly after 10 a.m., was primarily felt across the eastern parts of the island. Authorities reported no disturbances or damages following the event.
According to initial data, the epicenter was located in the sea approximately 21 kilometers south-southwest of Goudouras, on the island’s southeastern coast, while the focal depth of the tremor was measured at 6.2 kilometers.
Seismologists continue to monitor the area, though no aftershocks of concern have been reported so far. [AMNA]
