Activists detained by Israeli military forces after the interception of a flotilla bound for Gaza early Thursday will be disembarked in Greece, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has said.
“In coordination with the Greek government, the individuals transferred from the flotilla vessels to the Israeli vessel will be disembarked on a Greek beach in the coming hours,” Sa’ar said in a post on X.
He thanked the Greek government for what he described as its willingness to receive the flotilla participants.
So far, Israel – through the IDF – has successfully blocked attempts to breach the lawful naval blockade on Gaza and the arrival of vessels from the provocative flotilla, including last night.

Sa’ar said the “provocative flotilla” had failed in its attempt to breach what he called the lawful naval blockade on Gaza.
“All participants in the provocative flotilla who were taken off the vessels were taken off unharmed,” he added.
He also said humanitarian aid to Gaza should instead be channeled through the Board of Peace, which was established by US President Donald Trump.
