A Pakistani man attempted to rape a woman in Greece’s second largest city.
A 27-year-old Pakistani man has been charged with attempted rape after being accused of sexually assaulting a 30-year-old woman at the entrance of a building in the centre of Thessaloniki.
According to El, the 27-year-old man approached the woman, groping her under her clothes while at the same time attempting to cover her mouth with his hands.
The victim managed to escape and reported the incident to the police. After a police search, the alleged perpetrator was located and arrested.
The prosecutor filed criminal charges against him for attempted rape and attempted theft (he tried to take her cell phone) while referring him to an investigator to testify.
