Ministry to install new meteorological radars across Greece

The new meteorological stations and radars aim to enhance prevention and preparedness for extreme weather events, addressing a weakness that, according to the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilias, has existed for over 20 years.

The project, with an estimated cost of €36 million, is expected to significantly improve the quality of weather forecasts for the entire country.
