An explosion outside the Motor Oil plant in Agioi Theodoroi on Friday afternoon left two workers seriously injured.
Early reports say the blast was in an outdoor area of the site. The injured men, aged 43 and 50, work for an outside contractor. They are in a critical condition and on ventilators at Corinth General Hospital.
They were taken there by Motor Oil’s private ambulances. The company also has its own fire engines. Reports say the fire service was not called because the explosion did not start a fire. Police are at the plant and at the hospital.
