Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met American comedian Dave Chappelle at Kokkari, a Greek restaurant in San Francisco.
Video of the encounter shows a brief exchange. Mitsotakis spoke about Chappelle’s bond with his audience. Chappelle said that audience is in his heart and that it was an honour to meet the prime minister.
Mitsotakis asked if he liked the food and called it authentic Greek cooking. Chappelle said he already knew the restaurant and liked it a lot.

Chappelle: “I’m in the hearts of the people. It’s an honour to meet you, sir. This is the best Greek restaurant in the world.”
Mitsotakis: “You like it here, don’t you? This is authentic Greek food.”
Chappelle: “Yes, sir. Very nice to meet you.”
Who Chappelle is
David Khari Webber Chappelle was born in Washington, D.C., on 24 August 1973. He started stand-up as a teenager and built a career on observation and satire of American life, including race and culture. Chappelle’s Show in the early 2000s made him a television star.
