A man was arrested Monday on suspicion of carrying out a series of attacks in which he threw stones at pedestrians, often striking them in the face.
Police said six people were injured, five women and one man, including a minor who was attacked last week.
The suspect, working as a delivery driver, has reportedly confessed to the assaults. He told investigators he acted while under psychological strain.
Authorities said one of the victims is believed to be related to a member of the Greek government, though no further details were released.
The investigation is ongoing.
