Greece’s first floating boat test festival opens Friday at Porto Rafti Marina, offering prospective buyers the chance to take more than 30 vessels out on open water.
The “Boat Test Festival 2026,” running April 24-26 and organized by Pelagic Expo, marks what organizers call a new concept for the Greek marine market – one centered on hands-on sea trials rather than traditional boat show displays.
Visitors may board and test inflatables, fiberglass, and polyethylene boats under real sailing conditions. Marine engines, navigation electronics, and modern equipment will also be exhibited.
The event, held under the auspices of the Municipality of Markopoulo, runs daily 10 am-7 pm. Sea trials require advance scheduling. Admission is ticketed.
