Three government officials named in the European prosecutors’ investigation into a farm subsidies scandal are expected to tender their resignations, prompting a cabinet reshuffle.
The investigation names Rural Development Minister Kostas Tsiaras, Civil Protection Minister Ioannis Kefalogiannis and Deputy Health Minister Dimitris Vartzopoulos.
It also names the governing New Democracy party’s secretary, Kostas Skrekas.
The government is expected to soon announce a cabinet reshuffle.
