[Elena Papadimitriou]
The Athens Municipal Art Gallery (Leonidou & Millerou) presents “Bouche Fermee” (Closed Mouth), a powerful exhibition by Greek artist Elena Papadimitriou. Featuring 24 paintings, the show addresses female oppression through symbolic imagery, with flowers sealing the mouths of women. Inspired by the choral term bouche fermee, the works blend Byzantine influences with contemporary art, transforming silence into a potent statement on resilience. Admission is free.
