Greek police have announced the ban of a gathering planned by Panathinaikos fans on Sunday in front of the hotel where their team is staying in central Athens.
The gathering was planned to boost team morale ahead of the highly anticipated away derby against Olympiakos later that day at Karaiskaki Stadium in Piraeus.
According to the police announcement, the decision was made due to concerns over public safety and the potential for traffic disruption in the area.
