We have often seen laws being shot down by courts because they were drafted in a slipshod manner and could not stand up to scrutiny. This is especially so in the case of regulations concerning construction and zoning.

In a modern, law-abiding state, the least the administration can do is respect the decisions of the country’s courts. At the very least, it should not end up being reconvicted because it flouts verdicts.
