
The cooperation of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel & Tourism Agencies (FedHATTA) with the Chinese Consulate in Athens is being upgraded, with the aim of strengthening tourist flows from and to China and improving the conditions and the level of services provided.
A meeting held on Tuesday between the president of FedHATTA, Lysandros Tsilidis, the director of the Chinese Consulate and the commercial attache, Guo Xiaoyu and Sun Mingyu, respectively, at the federation’s offices in Athens, focused on simplifying and speeding up visa issuance procedures, which significantly facilitate organized trips to China.
The regular air connections by Juneyao Air and Air China also contribute significantly in this direction.
The two sides discussed the essential importance of promoting Chinese destinations in the Greek market, which FedHATTA is undertaking with initiatives for regular contacts with delegations from Chinese regions.
Finally, proposals were submitted for the organization of events and meetings with the aim of enriching the organized travel programs and attracting an audience with a wider context of interests and activities.
