Emergency crews have responded to a gas leak in the Thermi suburb, southeast of Thessaloniki, in northern Greece. No injuries have been reported.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the leak occurred during maintenance work when a crew from the local water utility company, EYATH, accidentally damaged a natural gas pipeline.
The area has been secured, and a fire brigade team is on site to contain the situation and ensure public safety.
No additional details have been released at this time.
