Increased toll rates now in effect on major Greek motorways


The new, increased toll rates for both mainline and side toll stations take effect on Wednesday, January 1, for the Patras – Corinth – Elefsina and Antirrio – Ioannina motorways, as well as the Rio – Antirrio Bridge.

Under the increased rates announced by “Olympia Odos,” a passenger car trip from Patras to Elefsina will now cost €13.30, up from €12.60.

Similarly, the journey from Antirrio to Ioannina for a passenger car will cost €14.35, an increase from the previous €13.70, according to the updated rates announced by “Nea Odos.”

For crossing the Antirrio Bridge, a passenger car will now be charged €15.40, up from €14.70.

Furthermore, beginning Wednesday, January 8, the new toll increases will also apply to the Corinth – Tripoli – Kalamata motorway and the Lefktro – Sparta sector.

According to the new rates announced by the company “Moreas S.A.,” the cost of a trip from Corinth to Tripoli to Kalamata for a passenger car will be €11.30, up from €10.80, while the cost for the Corinth to Tripoli route, including the Lefktro – Sparta sector, will increase to €12.45, up from €11.90.
