CBS News is reporting that US President-elect Donald Trump is considering appointing Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and former Fox New TV host, and current fiancee of his son Donald, Jr. as the new US Ambassador to Greece.

“Three sources familiar with the selection” have confirmed the report to CBS News.

CBS News senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs tweeted that “Trump is considering naming Kimberly Guilfoyle for U.S. ambassador to Greece, sources tell (CBS News Political Director Fin Gomez)  and me. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host-turned-political fundraiser, was dating Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.”

Guilfoyle, 55, has been engaged to Donald Trump Jr. since December 31, 2020. Her first husband _ she is twice divorced _ is current Governor of California Gavin Newsom, a Democrat.
