Specifically, the helicopter crash happened within the grounds of Castelguelfo Castle, which belongs to the Rovagnati family, known for their deli meat enterprise.
The 41-year-old mogul was about to become a father for the third time. The unfortunate Lorenzo Rovagnati, who was the successor in the namesake deli meat company, had been married for six years to Federica Sironi, and they had two children, with a third on the way.
Reports indicate that the helicopter crash occurred during takeoff due to dense fog in the area.
Italian media report that the ill-fated man regularly traveled every Wednesday to his family’s castle from his home in Milan.
The Rovagnati company was founded by the 41-year-old’s father, Paolo, after World War II, with Lorenzo having taken on the role of CEO several years ago, alongside his brother Ferruccio.
