Athens taxi drivers are set to hold a work stoppage on Thursday, January 23, as announced by their union, SATA.
Taxis will cease operations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a protest march planned to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The union emphasized its unanimous decision to step up efforts concerning a new traffic code proposal, specifically advocating for allowing loaded taxis to access bus lanes.
