A search operation was underway by the Fire Department in northern Greece on Tuesday to locate two 20-year-old men who went missing while hiking near the village of Litochoro, at the base of Mount Olympus.
Authorities were alerted by the mother of one of the men who told them she had been unable to reach him by phone since Monday.
Nine firefighters of the Fire Brigade’s EMAK unit were combing the area of Golna, the agency said.
