He added that his client \u201ccategorically denies the charges\u201d and argued that pretrial detention should be a last resort, based on clear evidence and the defendant\u2019s character, not the seriousness of the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion occurred in an apartment believed to be used for assembling explosives. It killed one man, thought to have been handling the materials and severely injured a woman. Authorities allege the 26-year-old\u2019s fingerprint was found inside a bag containing a gun and magazine.
