TASS has gathered the key remarks of the Russian foreign minister on the eve of Russia\u2019s talks with US representatives to be held in Riyadh on February 18:<\/strong><\/p>\n If European countries attempt to \u201cbargain\u201d for a ceasefire in order to rearm Ukraine, there is no sense in allowing them to participate in negotiations.<\/p>\n The West will not be able to \u201csit and wait under the \u2018nuclear umbrella’\u201d and will have to answer for its unlawful actions and support for the Nazi regime in Ukraine. \u201cOne must take responsibility for one\u2019s actions, as the Bible says.\u201d<\/p>\n The US has been playing a leading role in the Ukrainian crisis since its very start and now \u201cmay contribute to the settlement.\u201d<\/p>\n The Ukrainian army \u201cacts even worse than Hitler\u2019s murderers.\u201d The world should \u201clook at the atrocities they commit on the territories.\u201d<\/p>\n The topic of territorial compromises to what is called Ukraine now were made heard in the USA: \u201cThey have been debating territorial concessions indeed. <\u2026> Our president [Vladimir Putin] is calling for this too.\u201d<\/p>\n Discussions about \u201ccompromises\u201d on Ukraine resemble a \u201cscientific debate,\u201d Lavrov said. \u201cDo you wait for a mere idea about ceding some territories to appear at talks on resolving the conflict? How should they be ceded: with Russian people or without them?
