Both quakes had their epicenter 25 kilometers south-southwest of Amorgos, according to the National Observatory of Athens\u2019 Geodynamic Institute.<\/p>\n<p>A 4.1-magnitude quake was recorded at 11.02 a.m. Sunday, 26 kilometers northeast of Oia, Santorini, following another 4.1-magnitude tremor at 3.30 a.m. northwest of Anafi.<\/p>\n<p>While scientists mostly attribute the activity to a seismic swarm, concerns remain over the potential for a larger earthquake. Authorities have ruled out volcanic activity at Santorini\u2019s Nea Kameni or the underwater Kolumbo volcano.<\/p>\n<p>Precautions include school closures on Santorini and nearby islands until February 14, traffic restrictions in landslide-prone areas, and emergency preparedness.
