\u201cDimitris is fighting a very big battle. At this moment, physiatrists are doing their best to provide him with a \u2018challenging\u2019 physiotherapy. They have managed to get him to sit up\u2014which is significant\u2014because he was always lying down, and he still doesn\u2019t stand. He sits upright with his torso. This is a small improvement.<\/p>\n He has started to show some reactions on his face, some reflexes. We say that he is having an emotional reaction, meaning that in response to pain or music, he is gradually beginning to express himself through his facial expressions, though he is not speaking or able to communicate with his surroundings. It\u2019s important that, after 11 months, some progress is beginning. It will take much more time; we hope that gradually he will be able to improve further.
