A 44-year-old man has already been arrested as the murder suspect.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, the 48-year-old had also been accused of participating in the kidnapping of shipowner Pericles Panagopoulos in January 2009, during which his family paid a significant ransom for his release.<\/p>\n<p>Fifty-four-year-old surveyor Panagiotis Stathis was shot outside his office in the northern Athenian suburb of Neo Psychiko while driving his business partner\u2019s vehicle.
