In addition to seeing its passenger traffic increase significantly for 2024, its momentum is also reflected in comparison with the corresponding traffic at some of the busiest and largest airports in Europe. According to the latest Eurostat data, the \u2018Eleftherios Venizelos Airport\u2019 ranked eighth among the bloc\u2019s 10 busiest airports, with the total number of flights last year, based on airport data, exceeding 268,000.
