Stefanos Tsitsipas has powered into the Tokyo Open main draw after dispatching Australia\u2019s Rinky Hijikata in straight sets.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Greek world No. 44 defeated the world No. 82 6-4, 6-3 in just 66 minutes<\/strong>, completing a dominant run through qualifying.<\/p>\n

Tsitsipas remained composed throughout the opening set as both players held serve comfortably.<\/p>\n

The decisive moment came at 5-4<\/strong>, when the Greek broke Hijikata\u2019s serve to take the opening set.<\/p>\n

Tsitsipas carried that momentum into the second set, breaking early to move 2-0 ahead<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From there, he maintained control and closed out the match without allowing Hijikata a route back into the contest.<\/p>\n

The victory gives Tsitsipas a place in the main draw of the ATP 500 Tokyo Open<\/strong>, where he will face one of four potential opponents.<\/p>\n

His first round opponent will be Taylor Fritz, Rafael J\u00f3dar, Tom\u00e1s Mart\u00edn Etcheverry or Luca Van Assche<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Greek star now turns his attention to the main draw as he looks to build momentum in Tokyo.<\/p>\n
