The project, which is expected to be completed within three years, has faced numerous delays and challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Kathimerini understands that the state is planning to recover part of the additional cost from the original contractor, Greece\u2019s Intrakat, in accordance with the terms of the initial contract.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Public Works in Nicosia is conducting a detailed assessment to determine the cost of the work completed and what remains to be done. This evaluation, which includes a review of activities carried out during the contract period from May 27, 2021, to November 26, 2024, will determine the final invoice for Intrakat.
