Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka has traded the pressures of the WTA Tour for sunshine, crystal clear waters and a relaxing getaway in Greece with her fianc\u00e9, Georgios Frangulis.<\/h3>\n

The Belarusian star shared a series of photos from her Greek escape, including bikini snaps as she enjoyed some downtime alongside Frangulis.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka captioned the holiday photos simply:<\/p>\n

\u201cRest and reset in \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf7\ud83e\udef6.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The getaway comes after a dramatic US Open campaign in New York, where Sabalenka entered the tournament as the top seed and two time defending champion.<\/p>\n

The 28 year old progressed through the early rounds before overcoming Linda Noskova in a gruelling quarterfinal and defeating Jessica Pegula in the semifinals.<\/p>\n

Her title defence ultimately came to an end in the final, where she was beaten by Elena Rybakina.<\/p>\n

Following the tournament, Sabalenka headed to Greece to switch off from tennis and enjoy some well earned time away from the court.<\/p>\n

Aryna Sabalenka and Georgios Frangulis\u2019 relationship<\/h3>\n

Sabalenka first met Brazilian entrepreneur Georgios Frangulis in 2024 after becoming a brand ambassador for his Oakberry business.<\/p>\n

The pair began dating several months later and made their relationship public that year.<\/p>\n

They announced their engagement in March 2026.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s Greek getaway gave Sabalenka an opportunity to relax ahead of her return to competitive tennis.<\/p>\n

Georgios Frangulis expands Oakberry presence in Glyfada<\/h3>\n

Away from tennis, Georgios Frangulis has also been expanding his business interests in Greece.<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur, who co-founded the Brazilian a\u00e7a\u00ed brand , recently opened a new store in .<\/p>\n

Located at 27 Angelou Metaxa Avenue, the new Oakberry outlet offers a selection of a\u00e7a\u00ed bowls, smoothies, protein shakes and other healthy food options.<\/p>\n

The opening marks another step in the brand\u2019s expansion in Greece, bringing its popular a\u00e7a\u00ed-based menu to one of the southern suburbs of Athens. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka became an Oakberry brand ambassador in early 2024, before the couple\u2019s relationship became public later that year.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka joins fianc\u00e9 for clothing brand launch in Glyfada<\/h3>\n

Sabalenka\u2019s Greek getaway also included a stop in Glyfada, where she joined Frangulis for the launch of his new clothing brand, The Gride<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The couple appeared together at Simple Caracters<\/a>, the Liakotitis family venue in Glyfada, for the presentation of Frangulis\u2019 new collection.<\/p>\n

The event attracted a large crowd, with Sabalenka drawing plenty of attention from tennis fans and supporters of the new fashion label. The couple posed together during the launch, while their dog also became a popular guest at the event.<\/p>\n

The name The Gride<\/strong> is a combination of the words \u201cGreek\u201d and \u201cPride\u201d, reflecting the Greek identity behind Frangulis\u2019 new fashion venture.<\/p>\n

The Glyfada appearance came just days before Sabalenka shared photos from her Greek holiday, showing the tennis star enjoying some downtime with her fianc\u00e9 after her US Open campaign.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka looks ahead after US Open heartbreak<\/h3>\n

The US Open final also marked the end of Sabalenka\u2019s latest spell at the top of the WTA rankings.<\/p>\n

Speaking after her defeat, Sabalenka said she remained focused on improving her game and winning more tournaments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll just keep working hard and keep improving my tennis, my level, and hopefully I will win some more tournaments,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on her US Open campaign, Sabalenka added that the experience would provide further motivation for the remainder of the season and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cI should be happy with the level I played and there\u2019s lots of things to take from this tournament,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Sabalenka is expected to return to action at the China Open, which runs from September 30 to October 11.<\/p>\n

For now, however, the four time Grand Slam champion appears to be making the most of her Greek escape.<\/p>\n
