While it is involved in Volotea\u2019s share capital, Aegean is understood to have a distinct commercial policy.<\/p>\n<p>Aegean\u2019s local rival SKY Express issued an open invitation to the staff laid off by Volotea to submit their CVs for employment at the Iraklio-based carrier as it spreads its wings further.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, SKY Express said it is \u201chiring and absorbing staff from Volotea, offering new professional opportunities and securing the continued employment for tens of workers.\u201d It added that this highlights \u201cthe dynamic growth of SKY Express as well as its intention to strengthen its role as a main player in the sector of air transport.
