Applications are now open for Greece\u2019s Tourism for All 2026-2027<\/a> programme, a government-funded domestic travel scheme offering eligible residents digital accommodation vouchers worth between \u20ac200 and \u20ac600.<\/p>\n The programme is designed to make holidays within Greece more affordable for Greek households while encouraging travel outside the peak summer season. Applications close at 11.59pm on Friday, 21 August 2026.<\/p>\n Adult tax residents of Greece may apply, provided they submitted a final income tax return for the 2024 tax year and fall within the programme\u2019s income criteria. Applications can be lodged online through the Tourism for All platform using TAXISnet credentials or in person at a Citizens\u2019 Service Centre, known as a KEP.<\/p>\n Applications opened progressively according to the final digit of each applicant\u2019s Greek tax identification number, or AFM. Those with AFMs ending in 1 or 2 were able to apply from 5 August, followed by 3 or 4 on 6 August, 5 or 6 on 7 August, 7 or 8 on 8 August and 9 or 0 on 9 August.<\/p>\n From 10 August until the deadline, applications will be open to all eligible tax numbers.<\/p>\n The value of each voucher depends on the applicant\u2019s circumstances and whether they choose to travel during the high or low tourism season.<\/p>\n General applicants may receive \u20ac200 for high-season travel or \u20ac300 for low-season travel. Pensioners, single-parent families and families with three or more dependent children may receive \u20ac300 during the high season or \u20ac400 during the low season.<\/p>\n People with a certified disability of at least 67 per cent, along with parents of children who meet the same disability threshold, may receive \u20ac400 for high-season travel or \u20ac600 during the low season.<\/p>\n Successful applicants with four or more dependent children will also receive an additional \u20ac50 for each child from the fourth child onwards.<\/p>\n The programme has expanded its income limits, allowing more middle-income households to apply. The limit for single or widowed applicants without children has increased to \u20ac21,000, while married couples and civil partners without children may have a combined income of up to \u20ac33,000.<\/p>\n The thresholds rise according to the number of dependent children, reaching \u20ac58,000 for married couples or civil partners with seven children. Applicants with disabilities of at least 67 per cent, and parents of children who meet the same threshold, may apply regardless of income.<\/p>\n \u201cTourism is a social good and a right that should be accessible to everyone,\u201d Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni said.<\/p>\n Kefalogianni said the expanded programme was intended to support Greek families and vulnerable groups while directing more visitors towards mountain communities and lesser-known destinations.<\/p>\n Seventy per cent of the programme\u2019s budget has been allocated to travel between October and April, part of the government\u2019s broader effort to extend the tourism season and support local economies throughout the year.<\/p>\n Successful applicants will receive the subsidy through a digital debit card that can be used to pay for accommodation at eligible hotels, tourist lodgings and campsites throughout Greece.<\/p>\n The card may be used in one transaction or across several accommodation providers, subject to the remaining balance. It can only be used for accommodation and cannot cover meals, drinks, activities or other holiday expenses.<\/p>\n For the first phase, high-season cards will be valid until 30 September 2026 and again from 1 May to 30 June 2027. Low-season cards will be valid from 1 October 2026 until 30 April 2027.<\/p>\n Beneficiaries for the first phase will be chosen through an electronic lottery. There will be no separate application or lottery for the second phase, which will run until 31 December 2027. Instead, vouchers will be allocated from the list of eligible applicants who entered the first phase but were not selected, depending on the available 2027 budget.<\/p>\n People selected for the DYPA Social Tourism Programme for 2026-2027 are not eligible for Tourism for All, regardless of whether they have used that benefit. Most recipients of the 2025 Tourism for All programme are also excluded, although exceptions apply to qualifying applicants with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities.<\/p>\n Further information and applications are available through the official Tourism for All 2026-2027 platform<\/a>.
