It vividly illustrates the enduring relationship between people and both the natural and cultural landscape. The Ministry of Culture is now implementing an integrated plan for its protection and promotion. Accessibility, safety and fire protection are critical factors for the long-term sustainability of any archaeological site. Two harbours once controlled maritime traffic through the gulf.
