Commercial terms remain confidential.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gallium is a critical raw material used in artificial intelligence, advanced semiconductors, telecommunications, renewables infrastructure and defence applications. Global production remains highly concentrated, making diversified and reliable supply sources strategically important.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">METLEN is the first company in Europe to establish integrated gallium production and the first to finalise a commercial offtake agreement for European-produced gallium. Production is expected to begin in 2027 and reach 50 tonnes per year by 2028 \u2014 a volume sufficient to cover the European Union\u2019s entire demand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s flagship gallium investment has been officially designated a Strategic Project by the European Commission under the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA).
