According to Greek military sources, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down at 11:10 a.m. (Greece time)near Yanbu, in accordance with the unit\u2019s established rules of engagement. Military officials said the drone originated from Yemen.<\/p>\n
The interception followed an earlier operation the same morning, when the Greek Patriot battery destroyed two ballistic missiles, also launched from Yemen, at approximately 7:15 a.m. (Greece time).<\/p>\n
