The championship exam will last 100 minutes and bring together the world\u2019s top Microsoft Office specialists.<\/p>\n<p>Tselebi earned her place at the international competition after winning the gold medal at the Greek Microsoft Office Specialist National Championship. She recently completed Year 9 at the 2nd Gymnasium of Kavala and will begin high school later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Her success follows years of dedicated training in digital skills. After qualifying for the national finals for the first time in 2025, she returned in 2026 with greater experience and secured the national PowerPoint 365 title.<\/p>\n<p>Tselebi\u2019s qualification marks Kavala\u2019s sixth appearance at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship since 2018. Previous competitors from the northern Greek city include Effi Ziota (2018), Christos Kioftezidis (2019), Andreas Nalbandis (2021 and 2022), and Alkmini Gaitantzi (2023).<\/p>\n<p>The consistent results have established Kavala as one of Greece\u2019s leading centres for digital excellence. Championship statistics show the city has collected more national medals than any region outside Attica, despite its much smaller population.<\/p>\n<p>Her coach, computer science teacher Panagiotis Aslanidis, is guiding a PowerPoint finalist at the world championship for the fifth time.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA), Aslanidis said Tselebi was about to experience a unique international competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe has the opportunity to compete among the world\u2019s best PowerPoint users, represent Greece and showcase her talent, determination and perseverance in California,\u201d he said. \u201cI believe she carries with her the best wishes of everyone in Kavala and across Greece.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Greece enters this year\u2019s championship with confidence following last year\u2019s outstanding success, when Eleni Karakasidou won the 2025 PowerPoint world title after also training under Aslanidis.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<footer class=\"article-tags entry-footer\">\n<\/footer><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/greekcitytimes.com\/2026\/07\/25\/greek-teen-heads-to-microsoft-world-championship-in-california\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fifteen-year-old Danai Tselebi departed Athens on Friday to represent Greece at the 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in California.
