Greece is set to experience its first major heatwave of the summer, with temperatures forecast to soar as high as 42\u00b0C<\/strong> in parts of the country between Sunday and Tuesday<\/strong>, prompting warnings about dangerous conditions in urban areas.<\/p>\n According to meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafyllias<\/strong>, the hottest conditions are expected from July 19 to July 21<\/strong>, with Thessaly, Phthiotis, Aetolia-Acarnania, Boeotia and Central Macedonia<\/strong> likely to record highs of 41\u201342\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In Attica<\/strong>, temperatures are expected to exceed 38\u00b0C on Sunday<\/strong> before climbing to around 40\u00b0C<\/strong> on Monday and Tuesday.
