An anonymous gardener with a following of almost 9,000 people is constructing a fully themed miniature theme park in their back garden, and the section drawing the most attention is a Cycladic-style Greek quarter built from whitewashed walls and hand-painted stone.<\/p>\n

The Instagram account @smallest_themepark<\/a> describes itself simply as \u201cGardener\u201d in its bio, with a mission statement that reads: \u201cWe\u2019re building the world\u2019s smallest theme park in our garden.\u201d A note underneath confirms the endgame: an Airbnb listing, opening in the summer of 2027. Across 49 posts and counting, the account has built an audience of 8,906 followers who tune in for reels documenting the build stage by stage, from nursery runs for grape vines to the mechanics of faking a stone floor with cement, grooves and white paint.<\/p>\n

The most developed section so far is what the account calls, \u201cLittle Greece\u201d or \u201cour greece area.\u201d The captions are unpolished and conversational, which is part of the appeal. \u201cWe build the world\u2019s smallest themepark in our backyard,\u201d reads one. Another, posted alongside footage of the Greek section nearing completion, asks followers directly: \u201cThe Greek part of our garden is almost finished what do you think in missing?\u201d The comments filled in the gaps. \u201cCats,\u201d came the helpful reply from one follower. \u201cLemons,\u201d said another. Reels show the gardener laying a stone-effect floor by hand, cementing the base, then drawing grooves into the wet surface and painting them white once set, a technique that mimics the traditional paved courtyards found across islands such as Santorini and Mykonos. Grape vines, bought on a dedicated nursery trip, are being trained to grow over the space, a nod to the pergolas and vine-shaded tavernas that define Greek island architecture. The whitewashed walls, sharp geometric lines and sun-bleached palette all point to a deliberate, researched approach to Cycladic style rather than a generic Mediterranean pastiche.<\/p>\n
