The visit, which runs from Tuesday to Friday, begins in Doha, where Dendias is scheduled to be received by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani<\/strong>, at Lusail Palace. During the meeting, he will convey Greece\u2019s condolences following the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Dendias will then travel to Australia, where his itinerary includes meetings with leading defence technology companies and research institutions specialising in robotics, innovation and emerging defence technologies.<\/p>\n While in Australia, the minister will also meet government officials, members of the Greek Australian community and academics.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Dendias will attend a service at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady<\/strong> in Sydney, led by Archbishop Makarios of Australia<\/strong>, before holding a private meeting with the Archbishop at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.<\/p>\n Later that day, he will speak at Business Sydney<\/strong>, participating in a discussion titled \u201cSecurity in the Southeast Mediterranean\u201d<\/strong>, where regional security and strategic cooperation are expected to feature prominently.<\/p>\n The visit concludes on Friday with tours of Australian defence technology companies, highlighting Greece\u2019s interest in strengthening cooperation in advanced defence capabilities and innovation.<\/p>\n
