He also faced convictions for deliberate bodily harm against a minor in a domestic context, as well as repeated firearms-related offences.<\/p>\n<p>The case came to light in November 2024, when allegations of domestic violence and sexual abuse involving the couple\u2019s four children were filed by his estranged wife, who is also a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate decision, the court ruled by a 7\u20132 majority that the 35-year-old estranged wife was not guilty, despite the prosecution having sought her conviction.
