Taxes in excess of 5 billion euros will be paid every month from January 2025 by taxpayers and businesses, with total receipts approaching \u20ac70 billion next year, an increase of \u20ac2.5 billion compared to the current year.<\/p>\n
In the first two months of the year, households and businesses will repay their debts incurred for 2023 income tax as well as the Single Property Tax (ENFIA), while new tax obligations will begin from March 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On March 15, the Taxisnet electronic system is expected to open for the submission of tax returns (2024 income), while at the end of the same month, the installments of the new ENFIA will begin to come in, which will be paid in 12 monthly tranches.<\/p>\n
As shown by the figures of the budget for next year, the most difficult month for taxpayers will be July, when according to calculations more than \u20ac8.3 billion will flow into state coffers. It is noted that in July taxpayers will be asked to pay the first installment of income tax that will result from the settlement of the 2025 tax returns and the fifth installment of the new ENFIA. The month with the lowest requirements will be March, during which approximately \u20ac3.6 billion should be collected.<\/p>\n
According to the budget passed last Sunday, tax revenues in 2025 are as follows: taxes on goods and services at \u20ac38.02 billion, increased by \u20ac1.61 billion, or 4.4% compared to 2024; taxes and duties on imports, with revenues of \u20ac362 million; regular real estate taxes (\u20ac2.394 billion); other taxes on production (\u20ac460 million); income tax, from which revenues are expected to amount to \u20ac25.21 billion, increased by \u20ac1.01 billion or 4.2% compared to 2024; tax on capital, projected to amount to \u20ac235 million; and other current taxes, projected to come to \u20ac2.52 billion.<\/p>\n
Personal income tax is expected at \u20ac15.24 billion, increased by \u20ac882 million. Corporate income tax will be \u20ac7.97 billion, increased by \u20ac120 million from 2024, despite the balancing of factors with a fiscal impact in the previous financial year from the levy on refineries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
