Kimberly Guilfoyle, US President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s nominee as the next US ambassador to Greece, has said she is \u201cinspired by the enduring economic power of the US-Greece partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBolstering American investments in Greece will strengthen security, promote prosperity, and build upon the goodwill between America and Greece,\u201d Guilfoyle said, in a social media post sharing a clip from a recent episode from her online chat show.<\/p>\n

Describing the Greek people as \u201cresilient,\u201d she said their country \u201chas defined itself by a determination to build an economy that\u2019s growing better than ever before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder the leadership of President Trump and in partnership with our Greek allies, I\u2019m eager to serve as the next US ambassador and deliver on an agenda committed to innovation, energy security, and robust economic growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the show, which is hosted on Rumble, Guilfoyle said she was \u201cthrilled have the opportunity\u201d to carry Trump\u2019s message of \u201chope and optimism\u201d to Greece.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m eager to earn the support of the US Senate and to work with our key Greek allies to strengthen the bilateral partnership and deliver energy, security, peace, and prosperity,\u201d Guilfoyle said.<\/p>\n

She spoke of her \u201cgreat love and admiration \u2026 for the incredible county of Greece.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so inspired and impressed by the resiliency of the Greek people, their economic trajectory and their unbelievable history that is so rich, the birthplace of democracy,\u201d she said, adding that she was a \u201cstudent and scholar of ancient Greek history.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to do something that was an important and challenging position that would match my enthusiasm, intellect and work ethic, in an area of the world that is significant and really work to foster the bilateral relations between the US and Greece in energy, trade and the economy,\u201d Guilfoyle said.<\/p>\n

The ambassadorial nominee also shared a \u201cfun fact\u201d that on her birthday every year, \u201cI always want to have Greek food. I love lamb, the Greek honey, yogurt \u2013 all combined.\u201d<\/p>\n
