In a fit of rage, he attacked her with a hammer, killing her. Afterward, he hid her body in the attic of their home, only confessing to the murder two days later when he contacted the police. Upon their arrival, he led them to the location where he had concealed the body which had already began to decompose.<\/p>\n<p>His arrest is the latest in a series of femicides in Greece this year, underlining a concerning trend of violence against women.
