The Greek national cadets (U16) women’s water polo team has advanced to the final of the World Aquatics Women’s U16 Water Polo Championships after a convincing 14-8 victory over Hungary in the semi-finals.
The young Greek side, known as the Κορασίδων, delivered a strong performance to secure their place in the gold-medal match. They will face Spain tonight, Friday, at 21:30 local time, as they compete for the world title.
The result marks another impressive showing by the Greek girls at the tournament currently underway in Zagreb, Croatia (25–31 July 2026). Fans and officials have praised the team’s determination and skill throughout the competition.
