A 59-year-old man has been arrested in the Athens neighbourhood of Kypseli on suspicion of offending sexual decency following reports of inappropriate behaviour near a children’s playground.
According to police information, the incident occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday on Fokionos Negri Street, causing alarm among residents and passers-by.
Authorities allege the man was masturbating outside a children’s playground while minors were present nearby, prompting members of the public to immediately alert police.

Police Officers. immediately arrived on the scene and arrested the 59-year-old on suspicion of offending sexual decency.
The case remains under investigation.
