The Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS) has awarded 365 scholarships to outstanding students from across Greece, continuing its long-standing commitment to supporting academic excellence and the country’s next generation.
The scholarship recipients come from 44 regions of Greece and were selected from approximately 1,200 applicants.
The programme recognises high-achieving students and aims to help talented young people pursue higher education and further academic opportunities.
The Union of Greek Shipowners said the initiative reflects its ongoing investment in education and in the future of Greece’s youth by rewarding merit and supporting students from across the country.
The annual scholarship programme forms part of the organisation’s broader social responsibility initiatives, promoting equal educational opportunities and encouraging academic achievement nationwide.
