Greek enterprises have suffered from an increase in cyberattacks, with a considerable rise recorded in hacking attempts against the public sector, the financial services and shipping, Odyssey Cybersecurity founder Eleftherios Antoniadis told a press conference on Wednesday.
“The Greek market remains of low to medium maturity, especially when it comes to cybersecurity for small and medium-sized businesses. Businesses must understand that cybersecurity must be treated like financial or legal risk. Cybersecurity is the guardian of the brand, because a breach costs more in reputation,” said Apostolos Pandroulas, general manager of Odyssey Greece.
