Candidates will sit entrance exams for Greece’s Onassis Public Schools on Sunday, with testing beginning at 10 a.m. and exam centers closing entry at 9 a.m.

The schools are part of a network of publicly funded, privately supported institutions offering enhanced curricula.

Students applying for entry to the first year of lower secondary school (gymnasium) will take a 150-minute test assessing Greek language comprehension and mathematics skills acquired in primary school.

Applicants for upper secondary school (lyceum) will sit a 180-minute exam based on knowledge from lower secondary education.

The unified exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, evenly split between Greek language and mathematics.
