Greece has extended the deadline for applications to its 2026-2027 social tourism program until Monday.
The state-subsidized scheme, open to private-sector employees and registered unemployed meeting income criteria, will begin May 18 and run for 13 months. It will provide 300,000 holiday vouchers with a total budget of €50 million.
Recipients can book up to six nights in participating tourist accommodations at reduced cost, while longer stays of up to 10 or 12 nights are offered free in selected island and mainland regions.
Ferry tickets are also subsidized, with free travel for people with disabilities.
Applications are submitted online through the government platform.
