Police on the island of Kefalonia are investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman whose body was found early Tuesday morning in the central square of the town of Argostoli.
Ambulance crew who rushed to the scene found the young woman opposite a restaurant. The team attempted resuscitation which continued in the local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
According to initial information, no obvious injuries were found on the body, and authorities will wait for the autopsy and toxicology tests to shed light on the cause of death.
