A slight rise in temperatures, the presence of African dust in western Greece, local showers, and stronger winds are expected to shape Tuesday’s weather, according to meteo.
Cloudy skies will dominate, especially in western parts of the country, where local showers are forecast. After midday, rainfall is expected in areas of the Peloponnese, central Greece and Thessaly, gradually extending to parts of Macedonia later in the day.
Temperatures will range from 4 to 18°C in western Macedonia and 5 to 18-20°C across the rest of northern Greece. In Epirus, values will reach 23-24°C, while Thessaly will see 21-22°C. Other mainland regions will range between 24 and 27°C. In the Ionian Islands, temperatures will reach 21-23°C, while the Aegean Islands and Crete will see 21-22°C, with northern Crete peaking at 26-28°C.
In the Athens area, partly cloudy conditions will thicken after midday, with a chance of brief evening showers. Temperatures will range from 14 to 24°C.
In Thessaloniki, partly cloudy skies are expected, gradually becoming more overcast through the day, with a chance of rain late in the evening. Temperatures will range from 10 to 18°C.
