The Holy Light will travel from Jerusalem to Cyprus on a special Aegean Airlines flight on Holy Saturday, to be distributed to other sites on the island, the carrier said on Thursday.
According to a statement by Aegean, the arrival of the flight at Larnaca airport from Tel Aviv is expected at 5 p.m., accompanied by representatives of the Holy Sepulcher’s Exarchate on Cyprus, who will organize the Holy Light’s official reception and distribution to churches.
